The Level 5 Diploma is designed to dove-tail into a top-up undergraduate year at a UK University. It will require learners to make judgements and provide creative and practical solutions and ways of responding to organisational challenges and problems. An action based approach will be sought and learners who have strong motivation to progress in their chosen career and business pathway will gain significantly from the qualification.

Entry Requirements

Level 4

  • demonstrated some ability and possess qualifications at Level 3, for example ‘A’ Levels or vocational awards;
  • spent some time in an organisational role and shown they have capability and drive to develop;
  • seeking further professional development and to gain work related skills and know-how.

Level 5

  • qualifications at Level 4/5;
  • work experience at a managerial level and demonstrate ambition with clear career goals;
  • a first degree in another discipline and want to develop their careers hospitality and tourism management.

Assessment

The assessment is done via submission of assignments. There are no written exams.
